Hello:
Probably you already know, but my name is Francys Romero and I am a baseball writer, reporter and analyst, with a special focus on Cuban and Latino players on all levels.
I have created this special section on my newsletter to offer weekly reports on Cuban baseball players in English. Free subscribers receive one mail every Tuesday with a roundup of what was the most important news on the topic, but paid members will also have access to ocasional posts with inside info about the most coveted young Cuban prospects and the 100+ Cuban players that are part of the MLB system at different levels for $70 a year or $7 a month.
For those of you who decide to give my work a shot, here is a Top 50 of Cuban players who played on Minor Leagues last season. Some of the players featured on this list could be making their MLB debut as soon as next season, and some might be the next Yuli Gurriel or Jorge Soler.
In a Minor League season with 140 Cubans playing on all levels (from Rookie to Triple-A), I did my best to cover all of them. This was their distribution on Minors different levels:
Triple-A (30)
Double-A (16)
Class High-A (19)
Class Low-A (27)
Rookie (48)
